BE Maternal Fetal Medicine Staff Faculty Member

University Health Physicians, the academic group practice for the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine seeks a BE Maternal Fetal Medicine staff faculty member for the Department of OB/GYN to work at Truman Medical Centers – Hospital Hill and Lakewood in Kansas City, MO. Duties may include providing maternal fetal care at the Fetal Health Center at Children’s Mercy Hospital. In addition to a busy residency program of 32 residents, the Department of OB/GYN has a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship program, a pediatric and adolescent gynecology fellowship program, and exciting opportunities for research and academic achievement. Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with background.

Community Family Medicine Faculty Position

The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, Truman Medical Center Lakewood and University Health Physicians seek a full-time clinical faculty member for the Department of Community & Family Medicine. The position will include outpatient clinical activities at one of our five clinic locations in the Kansas City, Missouri metro area. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Family Medicine. The position is primarily an outpatient clinical practice position, although periodic precepting of medical students is expected. The applicant must be committed to both this teaching and patient care. While obstetrical and inpatient care privileges are welcome, they are not required for the position. Psychiatrist - Geriatric Unit

Our multi-specialty doctors provide patient care at the primary teaching hospitals and their clinics. The UPA administrative staff provides group practice management activities including billing and reimbursement services.

University Health Physicians and Truman Medical Centers Lakewood are currently seeking a full-time Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our medical staff in providing psychiatric coverage of our 16-bed geriatric psychiatric acute care unit.

This position will work as leader of a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatry residents, medical students, psychologists, medical social workers, dieticians, nurses and recreation therapists. Other duties will include: helping to cover our inpatient mental health units during physician absences, consultation liaison services to medical center and teaching of psychiatry residents and medical students. Participation in hospital-based committees and providing lectures to other medical specialties is encouraged.

The qualified candidate will have graduated from an accredited medical school, completing a residency in psychiatry (experience in geriatric psychiatry preferred, but not required)
